CNC Operator

Our client is excited to expand their Logistics Team in Toronto with a CNC Operator.

Our client has 43 manufacturing locations, including operations and joint ventures in 19 countries and a worldwide network of distributors and sales offices covering more than 160 countries. They have a global work force of more than 9,000.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
- Must have previous experience operating CNC machining equipment
- The ability to specifically operate, set up and program the following machines would be a definite asset: Mazak and Okuma, milling and turning vertical and horizontal machining centers
- Must be able and willing to work shift work
- Must be able and willing to perform in a piecework and high paced environment
- Must be a self-directed team member who understands and contributes to the overall team goal
- Must be able to produce all required parts while achieving 100% in all quality, environmental and safety requirements
- Must be willing to continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Must fully abide by and actively support the companies Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
- Must fully abide by and actively support the companies Code of Corporate Conduct and Ethics along with any other Compliance related policies and requirements
- As required or directed, conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Production Supervisor and/or his/her designate in a timely and professional manner.
